What is one of the most awesome Western cartoons of this era? Kids are not that so unanimous, but they can agree that it’s Ben 10. One of the longest running series as of present, kids enjoyed Benjamin Tennyson’s adventures as he transforms into 10 different alien heroes to fight of a menacing variety of villains, from space aliens to rogue agents and mad scientists.
We have seen him grow up on the next season and watched him mature in to a very fine young man. Now, with the toon games on the rise, we can join in his adventure further down the road, quite literally; or maybe not. I don’t know if it has something to do with his hobbies or something, but if you don’t really mind it, just take a peek in Ben 10 Street Stunt. Toon games sites are notorious for spamming games of this genre.
On almost every known one has this kind of game on their list with several “variations.” In actuality, they’re all just the same with different characters riding on different bikes with different objectives. In Happy Wheels game, you play as teenage Ben Tennyson as he races across a construction site (mainly) on his trusty bike doing stunts and other weirdness.
The controls are strangely reversed although there is no multiplayer mode. It can be confusing at times, especially the “leaning” function. When you get to the air, you can perform stunts by pressing 1, 2, or 3 on the numerical pad and that’s about it. Don’t bother learning how or when to use the “lean” button or you’ll just end up rolling over, doing nothing and restarting all over again.
So in all its generic staleness, Ben 10 Street Stunt is just an average run-of-the-mill game like all those bike toon games. Its good pick-up and play for your spare time. But I sincerely doubt that even the fans would enjoy it. Heck, if Ben can actually transform every time he does a stunt, that’ll certainly make everything worthwhile. Happy Wheels
